Maintaining supple shoulders is essential for both a healthy yoga practice and a healthy posture. On this workshop we will explore the important role of shoulder opening postures in our practice and learn how to alleviate pain and stiffness in the neck, shoulders and upper body with yoga. We will also learn poses you can do anywhere for instant relief from shoulder stiffness to help the shoulders remain relaxed and pain-free. The workshop will include taught asana work, some pranayama (breathing) practice, meditation and reading materials. Light refreshments will be provided. Suitable for all levels. Cost £15.00.
