Simone also has experience of lecturing psychology. She integrates her knowledge of psychology, biomechanics & clinical exercise prescription to help anyone change for the better, for good. She is committed to evidence based practice based on sound academic research and maintains a deeply spiritual personal relationship with yoga.

Simone has particular interest in pre & post-natal health. She has taught pregnancy yoga for a number of years both in Bristol and Devon. Her classes focus on a number of techniques to help women through their pregnancy and beyond.

Simone uses pranayama: breathing and relaxation to manage the emotional and physical changes of pregnancy. The strong relationship between anxiety and pain means that if you can relax, you can cope with physical discomfort.

The physical activity of classes is gentle, concentrating on mobility, removing stiffness and pain and also becoming aware of the physical changes.

Lastly there are some techniques that allow women to develop a bond between themselves and their growing bumps, make friends and have fun.

Simone is always happy to share her knowledge and stories. She has 8 year old twins.
